My idea was to experiment so I didn’t have an overall theme to my assignment.

The first one I made was just a logo transition I had intended to create and use for twitch.tv so at first it was made with no audio but then I created the audio once I had finished the animation however the sound is not exactly fully in sync as its just a transition type sound effect and nothing to fancy.

I created a sound in adobe audition early on that sounded like a jet engine starting up and running so I decided that it was a good idea to make that one of my portfolio pieces so i just needed to draw and animate an engine spinning up.

One of my portfolio animations was an Alien signal from places unknown and the animation for it was stars twinkling while the signal waveform played on top of it and it seemed simple but rendering it left me with lots of problems since the snow like effect makes it hard when it comes to compression creating artifacts between the “I” frames of the animation however I played around with it for a while to get it to look correct and running it on my PC looks fine but as soon as I upload it to the internet it gets artifacts even if I upload the original 3GB file to Box.

Since I needed a minimum of 4 pieces for this assignment and I was running out of ideas i thought I would play around with taking my voice singing and make it sound better by cleaning it up and making it sound less flat so I tried making it sound more autotuned and in the end, it ended up sounding like some crazed person singing into an autotuned intercom so I stuck with it and I was going to create a bit of music for it but I have no idea how to use my “Music Maker” app so I decided not to as or the animation I went for something simple that we learned in week 7 linking the audio to visual effects using the amplitude.
